Sweet Peas and Moonlight

Chapter 73
In the afternoon, Simmy delivered sweet peas,... defying the frost, these sweet smelling gifts filled the Hummer with fragrance. She put the gift in a simple Mason jar and brought them to her daughter-in-law. A magazine that she'd picked up at the airport a couple of days before was added to the fragrant nosegay... 'we are, to God, the fragrance of Christ to those who are being saved...
A lovely conversation sitting in the career counseling office...
Simmy had nudged the door shut just enough to have only her sneakers showing. It was a great way to fit in at the High School.
A good part of an hour of a bicycle ride in the strong wind gave Simmy an appetite for a Greek hamburger.
After picking up this occasional dinner, Sam drove down the street to a city park.
They parked, ate their meal and then the moon came out, bright and clear.
