Chapter 74
With coffee in hand, Sam and Simmy sat down to a 'rime frost on the pumpkin' Sunday morning.
Sam was reading the newspaper and Simmy was thinking about the movie 'Back-up Plan.' They'd watched this light-hearted romantic comedy as a Saturday night entertainment.
Disciplines of spiritual growth were always a palindromic mix of current output from past input, for Simmy, and current input from the results of past output correlating into current output... you get the picture.
Then, 'snap-shot' thoughts... she'd awakened thinking about a book she'd read a number of years ago... one of the many she had lent to someone and didn't get back... No bother! She'd learned the principle!
'Just enough light for the step I'm on' was a Stormie O'Martian creation. Within these pages Simmy had learned the disciplined principle of making your principle disciplined- in the now!
principle- noun
1. a fundamental truth or proposition that serves as a foundation for a system of belief or behaviour or for a chain of reasoning.
2. a rule or belief governing one's personal behaviour.
"Maybe,... a book entitled... 'Just enough principle to make me principled,' or 'What's enough principle to make me principled?'"
As she pondered her method of madness, her printing press mind spit out, "Gutenberg Google Midrash Mishmash."
"Yep, that describes my 'devotions.'"
