Simmy was up early in the morning.
Defeating the bully that had stolen years of joy from her and Sam, had been stressful.
She picked up the phone to call Deborah.
Bill answered, "Hello!"
"Oh," Simmy said, "is Deborah there?"
"Um, well, just a minute..."
"If she's in the shower..."
"No, here she is," Bill said.
"I'm working on a that little venture I've been talking about. What do you think?"
"It sounds great! We can have coffee at your shoppe."
"Yes, that will be so much fun!"
"I'm offering my decorating services for Christmas. People need to cheer up and embrace some beauty!"
"Amen, sister," Deborah spunked.
"I'm going to hang my 'Attitude' sign in the window and bring some 'Joy to the World.' Making a house a home just needs a little tweaking. Now that we've got some of that nasty family stuff settled, we're moving forward."
