Maiden Dances With Wolves

Chapter 66
Thanksgiving Day Monday, the sun was once again shining in promise. Simmy allowed the events of Sunday, a unique 10/10/10 in the history of time, to wash over her mind. She reflected...
J.P. had collected a ton of food for a local 'feeding the poor' mission.
At the coffee break, a young couple went to put their donation on the stage. They were standing beside Simmy who was looking at all the 'levelling the ground' offerings.
She chuckled and quipped, "Converted rice, perfect."
The young woman looked at her eagerly and hungrily, "Why converted? Why is that perfect?" Her face displayed a 'I need to hear from God today hunger.' Simmy explained her thoughts gently and hoped that the tiny connection had made the young woman feel known.
This Sunday morning 'Arts Service' did not require a 'ticketmaster' entry for a dance with the wind. No, this service was open to everyone regardless of one's station in life. All were welcome.
After the 'Arts' presentation, Sam and Simmy hurried back home to see how the turkey was progressing. Potatoes had been peeled. Stuffing had been made. Vegetables... Turkey coming out of the oven...Gravy...
Then,... the guests arrived.
After the amazing dinner was eaten, Simmy had invited her Mother into the back yard to see the incredible wall of sweet peas. It had pushed past the roof in the previous days and, as most 'prophets of the moment quotes' tend to happen, Simmy's mother remarked,...

"The higher they go, the more blooms!"

Her quote was simply spoken in English, even though that was her second language. Simmy recognized the wisdom words immediately and when she went back into the house, she headed for her journal. She was writing the quote and she felt someone peeking over her shoulder. Simmy quickly confirmed and credited, "I'm writing down what you said about the wall of sweet peas. Is this right?" Simmy spoke the quote and her Mom nodded, "Yes, that's right!"
The quirky side of Simmy suddenly thought, 'Dances with Wolves!'  With a maiden name like Wolfe, history was really in the making this day.
