Politics and Toilet Graffiti

Chapter 99 (cont'd)
After a long morning going through and reviewing a 'covenant programme' Simmy and Sam headed back home. As they were on their cove, some young men were delivering flyers for Kevin Lamoureux. One of the gentlemen waved happily and in such a friendly manner that Sam asked, "Do we know him?"
"I don't know but he seems to know us," Simmy stated.
As they passed Jonathan, Simmy rolled down her window and asked, "Who are you delivering flyers for?"
"Lamoureux," they said.
"Woo, Woo, Yah!" Simmy yelled out a cheer like she was at a basketball game. That boosted the young mens' energy and gave them a 'leg up' to keep going.
As soon as she got indoors, she loaded the two photos she had taken at the 'covenant course.'
A few weeks ago, her and Sam had watched a movie called 'Fade to Black' starring Danny Huston as Orson Welles. It had been an intriguing film and Simmy had thought there were a few quotes worthy of jotting down.
Orson Welles was asked, "Do you follow the politics at all?"
Orson had replied, "Not really, I just read the graffiti. Do you?"
To this the other man said, "I back the new guys- the Christian Democrats... they at least have the vision of the future... not squabbling over the past!"
So, thought Simmy, "Here's to a politician with the word love right in the center, a preacher with a centered love and bathroom graffiti that says it all in three words."
