Chapter 96 (cont'd)
It had been a different day at the shoppe. Simmy had invited Deborah for tea and they had yawned and laughed the afternoon away. There is something relaxing about having your kids grow up, move out and make room for a new different type of freedom.
At first it is uncomfortable but then, freedom... strange, kind of nice.
Tracey had come in from the United States to see how Stewart was faring after his two hip replacements. Pretty good, actually!
There was a power outage for two hours. Simmy went to the grocery store, purchased hamburger, drove home, cooked some spaghetti sauce and pasta and Voila! Dinner was made. She headed back to the shop and the power was back on.
Cool use of that time!
