Timing, timing, timing... this was the thought on Simmys' mind this morning.
In the journey of spiritual and personal growth, Simmy felt this was one of the last cogs to reach perfection.
Perfection... such a difficult concept. Kind of like the number 7. Some people called it the perfect number.
Dr. L, that is Dr. David L, had said a better way to describe it would be 'the number of completion.'
Deuteronomy 29:29 came to mind... 'The secret things belong to the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.'
Doing all the words... that makes sense to me, thought Simmy.
If you don't do the words, then they are only unfulfilled words, but when they are done, then they are? become? alive.
Now if The Word is living, breathing, then they have been done by someone in some time and space. And, if even revelations, both small r and big R have been done, on some metaphysical level, then we are sifted into individual responsibility, of our own personal time and space.
Just thinking...
Simmy picked up the National Geographic and read the cover, again, 'THE SEARCH FOR King David New Discoveries in the Holy Land.
Everyone seems to be getting in on the action these days.
