you may find some bitter twitter
a few words here... a few words there
swift words... make kindness rare
so if this road you choose to travel
tie tight your shoes for niggling gravel
works its way under souls of feet
and soon that street may feel less sweet
the tiniest stone can seem like boulder
to any a careless, hapless soldier
thoughts that you... choose first to sift
may cause your tweet to be less swift
but sword of tweet has double edge
so careful where you plant your sedge
for likely as not the road you make
will someday be... the road you take
would better path each one desire
that salted one that has no brier
if that street becomes high way
tis flavored salt replaces my way
a favored life you will then be planting
with little need for much recanting
